AHA to host screening of Toxic: A Black Woman鈥檚 Story

The explores underlying factors, including toxic stress, racial inequities, unconscious bias and microaggressions influencing the health of Black women and their birth outcomes. After the showing, Lauren Nunally, manager, women and infant services, strategic collaboratives at Premier in Charlotte, N.C., and Aisha Syeda, senior program manager, AHA, will lead a discussion about improving maternal health equity.
