HHS forms advisory committee on long COVID-19
The Department of Health and Human Services to serve on its on long COVID-19. Composed of up to 20 members, the committee will bring outside perspectives to make research and innovation recommendations in the government鈥檚 response to the longer-term impacts of COVID and associated conditions, with a focus on health equity. HHS seeks people who have lived experience with long COVID and the multidisciplinary expertise of those supporting and caring for people with the condition, as well as specific clinical, medical, public health, behavioral health, human services, employment, data science and research expertise. The committee鈥檚 membership will reflect individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizations, including underserved populations.
