Vaccine Integrity Project says HHS vaccine changes flawed

In its first public meeting, the Vaccine Integrity Project  a comprehensive review of vaccine studies, concluding no new evidence exists to support Health and Human Services Department changes to the fall COVID-19 vaccine recommendations for pregnant women or children most at risk. The American Academy of Pediatrics  its COVID-19 recommendations, which substantially diverge from HHS vaccine recommendations. The AAP  COVID-19 vaccinations for children ages 6 months to 2 years. Legal scholars and public health experts say the HHS  to reform the federal vaccine compensation program that settles injury claims could bankrupt or diminish the fund. They worry pharmaceutical companies could face liability risks and costs that could cause them to exit the vaccine market. (MedPage Today , 8/19/25)
