The 2023 Magnet Application Manual includes as part of its application requirements to guarantee health care organizations and nurse leaders include structures and processes to support nurses’ well-being. Magnet intends for health care organizations to embed the well-being of health care workers within all settings. Nurse leaders will be tasked with supporting nurses’ well-being through “strategic planning, nursing leadership participation and involvement of nurses that practice and influence practice across the organization,” to an article in the January Journal of Nursing Administration.
