Recently released data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show black and Hispanic people in all age categories die from COVID-19 at much higher rates than white people. An article prepared by the Brookings Institution graphs detailing 鈥渟tark inequalities鈥 in COVID-19鈥檚 impact. Likely contributing factors include the concentration of minority populations in regions hard-hit by the coronavirus and the preponderance of these groups in occupations that don鈥檛 allow for social distancing.
