Ethicist Rushton to lead nurse wellness retreat
To give front-line nurses an opportunity to nurture their bodies, minds and hearts, Cynda Rushton, PhD, RN, a professor of ethics at Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University and member of the National Academy of Medicine study committee on clinician burnout, will co-lead a half-day virtual , Restoring Wholeness in Turbulent Times. She will be joined by , an award-winning performer, educator and wellness leader renowned for her "storydance" performances. Participants will use music, movement and reflective practice to explore the burdens and gifts that have arisen during the pan卢demic. The April 17 event takes place from noon to 3 p.m. ET. Participants should in advance. Donations for participation will be used to support The Storydancer Project's palliative care programs and programs for nurses.
