ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúand The Health Management Academy’s Nursing Catalyst team will  a webinar on June 11 at 11:00 a.m. CT to explain how nurse leaders can leverage span-of-control data to invest in unit leadership. The organizations fielded a study featuring Nursing Catalyst’s span-of-control tool for front-line clinical leaders. Participants will learn about the key variables exerting influence on manager workload and actionable strategies for redefining front-line leadership roles to enhance workforce and patient outcomes. Participants will receive recommendations for optimizing span of control from ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúWorkforce Committee Co-chairs Claire Zangerle, DNP, RN, principal, CMZ Strategies, Cleveland, Ohio, and Erik Martin, DNP, RN, vice president and CNO, Norton Children’s, Louisville, Ky. Participants should  in advance. The findings complement AONL’s recent report on nurse manager span of control.
